June Rally – Highland Haven

June 7-10 Rally in Virginia Highland Haven!

VA Highland Haven Airstream Park | 6517 Highland Haven Rd NE | Copper Hill, VA 24079

This event has concluded, see you at the next rally!

Highland Haven is the place to enjoy cool mountain breezes and beautiful sunsets! It’s just 5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 25 miles south of Roanoke, Virginia.  Full hookups, free Wi-Fi, clubhouse with laundry, hiking trails and even a waterfall! Enjoy bluegrass music on Friday nights in nearby Floyd.

In 1970, several members of the WBCCI Virginia Unit purchased a 75 acre farm in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains of southwestern Virginia for an Airstream exclusive camping destination.  Through a private stock offering, and their own labor, they obtained the resources to construct a 46 site full hookup campground along a ridge line on the property.  The vision of the original forty-six founding stockholders, as well as the good stewardship of stockholders who followed, have allowed Virginia Highland Haven to continue as a premier camping destination for the Airstream community for nearly half a century. Be sure to check out the video history of the park on Highland Haven’s web page!

Getting here:

Some GPS systems can give unreliable directions leading you to very RV-unfriendly roads, so we are including driving directions from the major highways serving the area below. See the Location & Directions on the Highland Haven website

Caution:  U.S. 221 between Roanoke and Adney Gap and the portion of State Route 8 south of the Blue Ridge Parkway are not recommended for inexperienced RV drivers. Both have many sharp curves and steep grades (about 10%).
