  • This is often a sell out rally since attendees will make reservations when they leave the previous year!
  • Reservation Note: If all of HH is booked, reserve sites 64-70 in H and you’ll be a short walk across the street!
  • Rally includes the 2018 Officer Installation ceremony led by WBCCI President Jim Cocke!

Rally Agenda

Our activities in the Club House will be located in the smaller room that is accessed through the door off the right side of the large main assembly hall. We are leaving lots of free time for everyone to take advantage of the many activities, restaurants  and sights in the area.


  • 4:00 Gather at the Club House for a social time to meet and greet everyone.  Bring your own drinks and snack to share. Weather permitting, we may meet outside at someone’s site.


  • On your own to enjoy the area.


  • 8:30 Breakfast in the Club House.  Bring your service (plate/bowl/utensils). Coffee will be available.
  • 9:30 Business meeting and installation of new members.
  • After meeting seminars (optional):
    • How to winterize your trailer
    • Solar power round table discussion about what members have done with their trailers regarding solar.
  • 1:00 – 3:00 Camper Crawl/Wine Snort/Open House
    • This is an opportunity to visit other campers and share decorating and other ideas to make our campers more functional and user friendly. Guys can talk about tires, tanks, and other interesting items.
    • If you want to open your trailer for visitors, open your door.  All are  welcome to visit.  Wine and cheese is optional but encouraged.
  • 6:00 Supper in the Club House. Our meal will be a traditional “low country boil.” Bring your service (plate/bowl/utensils) and drink.
    • If you can, please bring a dessert to share.
  • 7:00 Installation of new officers for 2018.


  • 8:30 Gather at a site to be announced for a continental breakfast (muffins, toast, and coffee) followed by a short devotional and prayer for the road.

Things to do near Myrtle Beach

  • Walk on the beautiful beach of course!
  • Marsh Walk Murrells Inlet ~10 mi south –
    • The marsh walk in Murrells Inlet is the perfect place for nature lover and adventurous types. It is about a ½ mile of pristine salt marsh with a lot of oyster’s beds, Spartina grass and numerous fishing hot spots. The Marsh walk is rich in wildlife and ecology signs offer information about local shellfish and the fishing industry. You can also watch the boats unloading and loading their catch for the day. The views are breath taking from the marsh. It is truly a peaceful place to be. Walk along the boardwalk and have a beer and just sit outside and look at the beautiful marsh! There are also a lot of waterfront restaurants and if you didn’t know, Murrells Inlet is known as the Seafood Capital of South Carolina!
  • Historic Georgetown SC ~ 1 hour south –
    • The best kept secret in South Carolina – Historic Georgetown, a small southern coastal town filled with charm, history and personality.
  • Brookgreen Gardens  ~10 mi south in Murrells Inlet
    • Named one of the Top 10 Public Gardens in the US by Coastal Living Magazine. Right across the street from Huntington Beach State Park.
  • Huntington Beach State Park ~10 mi south in Murrells Inlet
    • Take a self-guided audio tour or docent-led tour of Atalaya, a National Historic Landmark. The picturesque, Moorish-style home was the winter retreat of renowned 20th-century sculptor, Anna Hyatt Huntington and her husband, philanthropist and Spanish scholar, Archer Huntington.

Ocean Lakes has 859 transient campsites, it’s one mile square, so a mile of it is on the Atlantic ocean! You can hear the ocean and walk to it from our area in HH! The campsites are large, pull-through sites along paved roads. Every site includes: 20-30-50 amp electric, water, sewer, 63-channel cable TV hookup, a phone jack with free local calls and a picnic table. Free Wi-Fi is available at all campsites. Concrete pads are available on over 630 campsites. Pad dimensions are generally 18′ W x 45′ L. There are no fire rings on the sites.
